Rincon is a great place to purchase when purchasing a home close to Savannah GA because of it's location northwest of Historic Savannah. Rincon is close to the Savannah River and the South Carolina State line. If you are commuting to Hilton Head Island for work or Blufton S.C. then Rincon would be a great place to consider buying a home. You get larger lot sizes in Rincon than you would find in most of Savannah or Hilton Head Island communities. Rincon and Effingham County also has many agricultural zoned properties where you can have horses. If you enjoy a country setting close to the city then Rincon and Effingham County would be the best place for you to purchase your home. If you are the cowboy or cowgirl that likes to go to the beach on the weekends then Rincon is the best of both worlds. Rincon is only a 45 minute commute to Tybee Island GA and Tybee Islands beach.
